Young Adult Brain Tumor Survivors A support group! A work in progress!
About us: We want to foster a FUN social group where we can share information and support in a relaxed atmosphere. We loosely define "young adult" in biological age from 18ish to 40ish. (Attitude is more important that age!) We had our first meeting on October 19th, 1997 and we invite you to join us next time! We discuss: relating to family and friends, relationships, disability insurance, access to government aid, education, employment, nutrition, coping with symptoms and neurological rehab, to name a few! Boston Area Monthly Meetings: the first Thursday of each month at the Wellness Community in Newton Centre, Newton Massachusetts 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Conveniently located on the MBTA Green Line, Newton Centre Stop. We have a second social event each month on a weekend afternoon, locations TBA monthly.
