Their great efforts in memory of Flory's dad who was overcome by a brain tumor are deeply appreciated and demonstrate that every contribution counts. Thank you girls for showing that anyone can be a leader in our community regardless of their age or experience! |

Please be advised of this press release about cell phones and Brain Tumors.
Brain Tumor organizations have been reluctant in the past to comment on the relationship between cell phone use and brain tumors. We are not going to stand-by quietly.
Science tell us that radiation is one of the only known causes of brain tumors. While the relationship between cell phones, portable phones or other devices and brain tumors is still being debated, we want our readers to be informed consumers.

| T.H.E BRAIN TRUST and Atalasoft have been recognized by Mass High Tech in the 2008 Tech Citizenship Awards. Atalasoft has been selected as one of the twenty-two companies to receive the award. Samantha Scolamiero, of T.H.E BRAIN TRUST and Bill Bither, CEO of Atalasoft (as well as a BRAIN TRUST Director, himself), spoke at a ceremony on November 21st at The Museum of Science as part of this honor. |

Our friends and MIT BrainTrust have launched their new “BrainTrust Buddies” project! This program allows brain tumor patients, survivors, and students to share their experiences and perspectives in a supportive and fun social environment. So far, they’ve been sailing in Boston Harbor, gotten to know each other at ice-cream socials, and planned a movie day.
