We are trying to establish a formal program so that people can recycle their home or office computers by giving them to someone in their community who has a neurological problem and needs to connect to the Internet. Please contact us if you have used computer equipment to recycle, or would like to participate in helping to administer this program. "The Healing Computer Exchange" been going on informally with members of the BRAINTMR mailing list for several years, but formalizing it would have great benefits for more donors and recipients.
We have distributed computer equipment to 5 brain tumor/injury survivors as of 09/13/99.
