I am so sorry to hear about your mother. My son who is 11 was diagnosed with glioblastoma three weeks ago after becoming parylized from the neck down. The tumor went from his brain is the cerabellum to his 7th vertabrea which is why he was unable to move. 80 percent of the tumor was removed in an emergency surgery. We found out last week that other areas of the spinal cord are also effected. He has been recieving chemo since day one and will begin radiation later this week. I am just in the learning stage of all of this myself. We have had to go through school here at the hospital to learn how to take care of his trac. He had to have one put in along with a feeding tube. He is on a ventilator because of the paralysis and we don't know if he will have to remain on it or not. We take things day by day and pray for healing. I will also include your mother in my prayers.
