My husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor 12/97. He had surgery 3/98 at this time over 90% was removed. The reports looked ok during a checkup with MRI 9/98. However 2/99 another MRI revealed that it had grown back. Surgery was again scheduled which about 80% was again removed, this time followed up by radiation treatment. My husband did well during treatment, however he was very tired. He continues to be tired,so that he needs a nap everyday. It is very scary because I love him so much. The doctors think he had a combination of an ependymoma & chroid plexus tumor, which they said they had never seen before. I guess I am looking for some encouragement from anyone who has been successful fighting this disease and if radiation did not work, what next.
