I know that your original response to the glioblasoma was in 1999 and I am not sure of your fathers condition at this time if it progressed as fast as my dad's seems to be going maybe he is now resting in a beautiful place.
My question to you is this: How did it progress? My dad is 83 years old and has always been healthy and mentally alert. He was diagnosed with this disease as a IV or V the worst. We opted for no treatment. His right side is now paralyzed and his speech is definitely not there. I don't know what to expect from this point on. I know he pretty much understands us but am not too certain. My mom and takes care of him at home and he is bed ridden now. I come on Friday's and stay overnight so she may take care of things and I love spending this precious time with my dad. Can you please tell me what I might expect and how you handled it.
Thank you,
Renee
