My wife (Michelle) was diagnosed with a grade 4 Anaplastic Oligodendroglioma in June of 1997 after she had a seizure with no prior symptoms. Michelle's tumor was in her left temporal lobe and was about the size of a grapefruit. She underwent surgery, radiation treatment and a year's worth of chemotherapy.

Now, almost three years later, she continues to be free of recurrence. We have semi-annual MRIs and life has returned to normal except for our new appreciation for all things in life. I hope your mother's case turns out well. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or want to compare notes. May God be with you!
