I, too, am on Paxil and started taking Ritalin for fatigue. I am not enjoying any significant energy boost so it looks like I'll have to overcome the fatigue and resort to exercise. My guess is that I'll have to get in better shape than the next person, just to enjoy a 'normal' level of energy.
I've discussed the fatigue issue with several types of doctors and there doesn't seem to be any magic bullet. Also, I put it to the BRAINTMR mailing list, receiving much empathy, but no solutions.
Fatigue is not a trivial issue. Someone said that it was brought up at the last brain tumor conference and that it had never really been studied, but it will be studied soon. The results should prove interesting. Pesonally, a year after my own craniotomy, I think that fatigue is the biggest limiting factor to regaining a measure of my old self.
