My husband has GBM. He underwent standard high dose radiation. It did not stop the growth or shrink the tumor. He didn't experience any severe side effects. However, there are many, many different types of radiation methods and clinical trials involving radiation. I wish I had been better informed about them. Don't accept just standard treatment. There are some promising things worth checking out.
