Mark, I have had both and more.. 2 resections and 5500 rads of stereotactic radiation. Currently going the PCV route, for a mixed glioma, right temp. diagnosed in 1992.
Stereotactic radiation was not such a bad thing to do, but I don't know if it had any possitive lasting effects on the tumor, as it continued to grow after radiation.
But that's me, others I know have had very good results from stereotactic radiation.
Side affects were mostly energy related, even months after treatment. aurgh!
