Glioblastoma

We live in Australia. My Father was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme IV in September 2000. Currently suffering recurrent tumour of the left frontal lobe. Surgery in October was followed by radium treatment in December 2000/January 2001. Upon recurrence in April 2001, Temodal was administered twice consecutively in May and June 2001. Most recent scan attached (26 June 2001).

He is currently in palliative care as we could no longer care for him adequately at home. I have searched the net for trials, alternatives but there is just a "web" of claims and blind alleys which his doctors are not interested in. I am having difficulty in just "giving up" and just waiting.

Is anyone else going through the same thing and or can anyone help me make sense of the information on holistic and alternative treatments and trials. Basically, what should I do now? Thanks :)
