Oligodendroglioma grade 2

I am a 35-year-old male, and have just been diagnosed with a well differentiated grade 2 oligodendroglioma located in my left frontal lobe. Additionally, it is located very close to my motor cortex and sensory cortex. After receiving verification (second opinion), my neurosurgeons have recommended watching it via MRI every 3 months. They informed me I had approximately a 1 in 10 chance of being paralyzed due to the proximity of the motor cortex if they attempted to remove it. What does my future hold for me??? I have too many questions I want to ask, so any information would help tremendously!

I had never had a single symptom, and it was discovered after having a grand mal seizure (6/14/01). One of the worst parts is that I don't even recall the seizure starting let alone having it! Absolutely terrifying!!

Just for your reference, I'm taking 200mg of Dilantin twice daily and 250mg of Keppra three times daily. I have had 12 seizures total: 2 grand mal and the remainder have been focal seizures of my right hand and arm. It's been 3 weeks since I've had even a focal seizure since I started taking the Keppra.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks (in advance),
Tony B
