My heart goes out to you. My mother has deteriorated in the last 10 days. She had surgery in Oct 2000 and radiation treatment, as well as alternative treatment. Everything was going great and she believed that she could beat this, but a second lesion was found three weeks ago, and she is devastated. She has trouble speaking and is very confused, doing very strange things. I can only tell you what I have been told to expect. She will experience excruciating headaches which will need narcotics. The best we can hope for is that she goes into a coma. Things are moving quicker than we were led to believe, and all the family has come home. We havent had any seizures yet, and she has someone with her all the time. Our family is very close and we are all trying to come to grips with this. I am trying to hold up, but now it is out in the open, we can cry openly and there is lots of hugs and kisses and togetherness. That is all we have now. We want to keep her at home where she feels safe, and my aunts and uncles are a great support for my sister and myself. I know the pain you must feel, my heart feels like it is being ripped out. God bless you and your family.
