I was diagnosed with an oligodendroglioma in January, 1995. Actually,
I was told at that time that it was probably an astrocytoma and that it was inoperable. After 2 1/2 years, they did operate on my tumour and removed most of it except for the speech area. I was having very difficult seizures before the surgery and lived for 3 years after the surgery with minor seizures that allowed me to live a full life. I adopted a son (with my husband!) and now have two children, ages 7 and 2. Recently, my difficult seizures have started again. I wonder if there is anyone who also deals with seizures and would let me know how they deal with them. I am trying to give this all to God, but it is hard. During my 'good' years after the surgery, I was able to be a foster mom also. Now, things are a little worse, but I am hopeful that it will get under control again.

I have been to death's door and back. Life is still good. God bless you.
