Have you heard of the new uses of thalidomide? It has been reported to greatly improve the quality of life of glioblastoma patients -- cognition, nausea, etc. -- and either arrest or shrink disease in something like 1/3 of patients, giving them months more of life. It is certainly worth a try. Find a sympathetic doctor who will give it -- find someone who is already giving it in your area. It is a legal presciption drug available at your local drugstore right now -- only for leprosy, but a lot of people are using it "off-lable" for cancer and other things. It is worth a try for all glioblastoma patients!!

If you can't get it, though, try a weaker anti-angiogenic drug like the very widely used arthritis drug, Celebrex. If you -- or anyone in your family -- tell your dr. that you have arthritis you can get it easily
